Tummy Tuck
Weight loss and pregnancy can result in loose skin of the abdomen which does not return to its previous tight state. If stretch marks are present, these are a sign of loss of elasticity. The abdominal muscles are frequently spread apart. Exercise can improve the tone of the muscles, but will not do anything for the skin. In many cases, the belly button becomes large and poorly defined, and sometimes the skin wrinkles or hangs. Hanging skin can look like an apron, and cause skin irritation or embarrassing odors.

Abdominal surgery can tighten and enhance the abdominal appearance by removing excess skin, and flatten the tummy by bringing the muscles closer together. The overall change is to create a more youthful, toned appearance and often a trimmer waistline, helping your clothes fit better. Your carefully planned, personalized procedure is designed with your particular needs in mind, so please feel at ease in discussing your concerns and desires with our surgeons.
